What you'll do

  • Personalize each interaction with a guest by using their name during conversations.
  • Be responsible for maintaining guest profiles to have an accurate source of information about each client's needs and preferences, respecting local data protection regulations.
  • Be aware of possible VIPs arriving at or visiting the different areas of the hotel. Ensure they are received and escorted to their destination.
  • Handle all customer complaints professionally, personally, and empathetically.
  • Seek ways to continuously improve your personal knowledge and skills, and be actively involved with leaders in creating best practices in the office.
  • Support the revenue team's established pricing strategy. Maximize hotel sales and revenue through Upselling/Cross-selling promotions.
  • Ensure that clients receive a quick and efficient check-in and check-out. If applicable, be knowledgeable about the digital check-in process to serve the guest accordingly.
  • Attend to internal and/or external client telephone requests, whenever the hotel does not have a centralized Guest Service Line.
  • Become an ambassador for the hotel at any time you represent the company.
  • Be responsible for maintaining guest profiles to ensure an accurate source of information about each client's needs and preferences.
  • Ability to work under supervision, be courteous and helpful to both colleagues and guests, have good communication skills, be enthusiastic, and have a willingness to learn.

  • Ensure that all client inquiries or requests are addressed politely and efficiently, within an acceptable time frame.

What we're looking for

Education & certifications

  • University degree or vocational training in Tourism, hotel management, or similar.

Languages

  • Native Spanish speaker and Advanced English. A third language is valuable.
