Functional Architect

Experience: Minimum 4 years in software development and 2-3 years in complex systems architecture.

•  Broad mastery of Java (versions 7, 8, 11, 17, 21) and knowledge of frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, springboot

• Being able to provide technical support to development teams and propose solutions to technical problems.

• Knowledge of monolithic architectures, microservices, Angular components, and servlets. Minimum experience in application servers and container platforms such as openshift, azure, or similar. This is experience in Cloud (openshift, AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD tools (BB and GitHub).

• Experience in designing REST and SOAP APIs, and integration with external services. Use of openAPI, swagger, and tools for testing APIs (SoapUI, postman...etc).

• Skills with statistical tools to detect performance issues and diagnose causes and solutions through traceability, monitoring, and performance studies of the various components, such as kibana, grafana, splunk, ppDynamics...

•  Handling of design patterns and microservices architecture in java.

• Knowledge of different data sources such as relational databases (db2, oracle) and NoSQL (mongo), messaging queues (kafka, MQ), APIs, third-party services...

• Identity and access management tools such as keycloak or WSO2.

• Management of environments and propagation of java/angular components to production environments, making them operational (ensuring they are ready and in optimal conditions to work).

• Experience translating business requirements into clear technical specifications. Ability to work on user story elicitation.

• Capacity to generate functional diagrams, process flows, and traceability matrices.

• Must design test cases and generate test data for the necessary changes and improvements applicable to the sw.

• Experience in backlog management, requirement prioritization, validation, and functional testing.

• Effective communication to interact with clients, users, and the development team.

• Negotiation and management skills with experience in estimations and planning.

• Skills that allow for performing tests and detecting technical or functional defects
