Requirements

What we're looking for

At least 5 years of experience in IT systems operation, maintenance, or administration.
Experience in on-premise infrastructures.
Knowledge of Linux, Windows Server, VMware, and Active Directory.
Experience in systems monitoring and incident resolution.
Proficiency with monitoring tools, such as Zabbix or similar.
Experience with ticketing and IT service management tools, such as Jira, Maximo, or equivalents.
Knowledge of LAN networks and firewalling.
Higher Level Vocational Training degree.
English B2 or higher, to collaborate with international teams.
Problem-solving capacity, teamwork, and adaptation to different technologies.

Nice to have

Experience in AWS or Azure cloud environments.
Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux —RHEL—.
Knowledge of high availability solutions and clusters, such as Pacemaker or Veritas.
Experience with Kubernetes, especially microk8s.
ITIL 4 certification.
Experience collaborating with development, DevOps, and vendor support teams.

The role

At Métrica, we are looking for a Systems Administrator / IT Operations Technician with experience in infrastructure maintenance and operation to join a mobility and transport project.

What you'll do

Operation and maintenance of IT platforms in on-premise and cloud environments.
Monitoring of system availability and performance.
Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
Management and resolution of incidents and requests, escalating to higher levels when necessary.
Collaboration in the maintenance of platform security and continuity.
Coordination with development, DevOps, and vendor support teams.
Updating of architecture documentation and operation manuals.

How you'll work

Modality: 100% teleworking.
Reference center: San Fernando de Henares, Madrid.
Possibility of performing on-call shifts in a 24×7 service, frequency to be determined.
