What we're looking for

Essential requirements:

A minimum of 2 years of experience as a data engineer is required.

- Experience in the design and implementation of ETL and ELT pipelines.

- Advanced mastery of SQL and manipulation of large volumes of data, and knowledge of data-oriented programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java.

- Experience with orchestration tools and data flows such as Airflow, NiFi, or Prefect.

- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.

- Understanding of data formats such as JSON, Parquet, Avro, or CSV.

- Experience in data quality control and automated validations.

- University Degree in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar; training in databases or data analysis will be valued.

- English level B2-C1.

Nice to have

Desirable requirements:

- Experience in Big Data environments with technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or Flink.

- Knowledge of Data Lake and Data Warehouse architectures.

- Experience in cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

- Knowledge of data streaming with tools such as Kafka, Kinesis, or Pub/Sub.

- Familiarity with containers and Kubernetes.

- Basic knowledge of data governance and metadata.

Valuable certifications:

Certifications in ETL or Big Data tools.

Personal skills:

Logical thinking and orientation towards efficiency, analytical capacity and problem-solving, organization and technical documentation, teamwork with analysts, data scientists, and architects, and proactivity and continuous learning.

What you'll do

- Design and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines.

- Implement ingestion, transformation, and loading processes.

- Guarantee data quality, consistency, and traceability, and monitor performance by optimizing processing times.

- Collaborate with data architects and BI and AI teams.

- Document data flows and technical dependencies.

- Participate in the automation and CI/CD deployment of pipelines.
