The role

We are looking for a Logistics Administrative Assistant to join the Logistics team at the Malaga Platform. Below, we tell you all the details about the role:

Your mission will be to ensure the correct flow of purchases, inventories, supplier accounting, payables, and invoicing to platforms and centers, carrying out constant monitoring, improvement actions, and proposals that guarantee the process.

Your main duties:  

  • You will prepare receiving reports for national and regional platforms. You will control the collection and return of materials between centers.
  • You will prepare inventories for accounting. You will manage and invoice online orders.
  • You will resolve logistics issues with centers and suppliers. You will handle import returns and overstock with the logistics operator.
  • You will handle supplier inquiries and verify shipments from warehouses. You will create and update suppliers and items in systems.
  • You will process urgent orders and cross-docking, adjustments, and incidents. You will be responsible for platform supply and claims management.

At an organizational level:  

  • You will report to the Platform Manager.
  • No team under their supervision.

What are we looking for in you?

  • 3 to 5 years of experience managing logistics administrative processes.
  • Nice to have: Food sector experience, specifically multi-temperature operations.

Please note

  • There are 2 positions. Both are Monday to Sunday + holidays. Morning shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (+ 20 minutes break). Afternoon shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM (+ 20 minutes break).
  • You will need your own vehicle to get to the workplace.
