Purchasing Assistant - Dry Goods (temporary)

We are looking for a Purchasing Assistant - Dry Goods (temporary) to join the Dry Goods Purchasing team at our headquarters in Madrid. Below, we tell you all the details of the role:

Your mission will be: to support the Category Manager and the Junior Category Manager in the local category and supplier strategy, managing administrative and operational tasks to guarantee service and adapt to market trends.

• You will support the buyer in the implementation of the local Category and Supplier strategy, guaranteeing customer satisfaction and business objectives.
• You will manage administrative tasks such as orders, item registration, rate updates, and database maintenance.
• You will prepare stock, sales, and product availability reports to support procurement decisions and strategic analysis.
• You will supervise category performance in pricing, assortment, product quality, and planning alongside the buyer.
• You will coordinate the search and management of suppliers, ensuring appropriate terms and conditions.

At an organizational level

• You will report to the Dry Goods Category Manager (Confectionery & Snacks).
• You will not have a team under your supervision.

• Education
• 2 or 3 years of experience in similar positions.
• Proficiency in office tools and analytical capacity.
• Valuable knowledge of dry goods, previous experience in a purchasing department and/or in other companies in the sector.
• Valuable intermediate English level.

Nos encontramos en la búsqueda de un/a Ayudante de compras - Producto Seco (temporal) para unirse al equipo de Compras de Seco en nuestras oficinas centrales en Madrid. A continuación, te contamos todos los detalles del rol:

Tu misión será; apoyar al Category Manager y al Category Manager Junior en la estrategia local de categorías y proveedores, gestionando tareas administrativas y operativas para garantizar el servicio y adaptarse a las tendencias del mercado.

• Apoyarás al comprador en la implementación de la estrategia local de Categorías y Proveedores, garantizando la satisfacción del cliente y los objetivos del negocio.
• Gestionarás tareas administrativas como pedidos, altas de artículos, actualización de tarifas y mantenimiento de bases de datos.
• Elaborarás informes de stock, ventas y disponibilidad de productos para apoyar decisiones de aprovisionamiento y análisis estratégico.
• Supervisarás el desempeño de categorías en precios, surtido, calidad de producto y planificación junto al comprador.
• Coordinarás la búsqueda y gestión de proveedores, asegurando términos y condiciones adecuados.

A nivel organizativo:

• Reportarás al Responsable de Categoría de Producto seco (Confectionery & Snacks).
• No tendrás equipo a cargo.

• Formación profesional.
• Experiencia de 2 o 3 años en puestos similares.
• Dominio herramientas ofimáticas y capacidad de análisis.
• Valorable conocimiento del producto seco, experiencia previa en departamento de compras y/o en otras empresas del sector.
• Valorable nivel de inglés intermedio.
