About the role

We are looking for a Java Camunda developer for one of our clients located in Spain

  • Stable project as Camunda Engineer
  • You will be part of a Technology Talent ecosystem

What you'll do

  • Design, model, and implement business processes using Camunda (BPMN, DMN, and CMMN).
  • Develop and maintain Java and Spring Boot applications integrated with Camunda.
  • Orchestrate complex business flows, combining:
    • External services
    • Automated decisions
    • Human tasks
  • Integrate processes with:
    • REST APIs
    • Messaging systems such as Kafka and/or RabbitMQ
  • Implement and manage:
    • Error events
    • Compensations
    • Wait states (timers)
    • Incident handling and retries in Cockpit / Operate
  • Apply good development practices:
    • Modularity
    • Naming conventions
    • Technical documentation
  • Define and execute unit and integration tests for processes and services.
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams in international environments.

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of experience developing with Camunda
  • 3+ years of experience developing with Java and Spring Boot
  • Advanced English level (mandatory)

  • Camunda 8 (Zeebe, Operate, Tasklist)
  • Process modeling with Camunda Modeler:
  • BPMN, DMN, and CMMN

  • Process documentation
  • Ability to orchestrate complex flows:
  • Integration with external services
  • Automated decisions
  • Human tasks
  • Integration with:
