The role

We are looking to hire a Procurement Manager to lead the evolution and transformation of the Purchasing area, professionalizing processes, tools, and methodologies and increasing the strategic value that Purchasing brings to the business. The position will be responsible for leading a team of 3 people and evolving the department from a primarily operational function towards a more strategic purchasing model.

What you'll do

Main responsibilities

Lead the transformation and professionalization of the Purchasing department, defining processes, policies, procedures, and indicators.
Design and implement the purchasing strategy aligned with business objectives.
Manage, develop, and support a team of 3 people, establishing responsibilities, objectives, and work methodology.
Analyze spend and develop strategies by categories and purchasing families.
Identify opportunities for savings, efficiency, and TCO improvement, beyond price negotiation.
Lead strategic negotiations and framework agreements with suppliers.
Review and optimize the supplier panel, working on their approval, evaluation, and development.
Define and monitor Purchasing KPIs: savings, compliance, quality, service, risks, supplier concentration, etc.
Work transversally with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, and other internal areas.
Identify risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making within the department.
