The role

Opportunity to join as a Supply Planner at a global leader in high-value-added solutions for the technical industry. Key role to ensure product availability, optimize inventories, and ensure operational excellence in an international environment.

What you'll do

Analyze sales history, determine the best-fitting statistical model, enrich it with input from the commercial team, and prepare the demand forecast
Decide the optimal inventory policy to ensure product availability in different markets and adjust parameters
Place purchase orders and production orders based on the forecast and inventory policy
Monitor critical points with suppliers or group plants, such as capacity and critical components, and anticipate deviations or additional needs
Analyze inventory levels, proposing adjustments to optimize stock and minimize shortages or excesses
Track key performance indicators (OTIF, lead times, service level, stock coverage)
Coordinate with production, purchasing, logistics, and commercial departments to ensure an efficient and consistent information flow, leading the S&OP process
Actively participate in continuous improvement projects within the Supply Chain area
Contribute to the standardization of planning processes and tools
Prepare periodic reports for management and cross-functional areas

Profile description

University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or similar
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Supply Planning, Demand Planning, or similar roles within industrial environments
Knowledge of planning processes, MRP, inventory management, and coordination with production plants
Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP or similar is a plus)
Professional English, able to communicate with international teams
Analytical, structured profile, with prioritization skills and a continuous improvement mindset
Communication and teamwork skills in multicultural environments
