About the role

The selected person will be responsible for ensuring compliance with current HSE regulations, promoting preventive, training and continuous improvement actions aimed at reducing accident rates and ensuring safe working conditions for the entire workforce.

What you'll do

As an HSE Technician, you will be required to carry out the following responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with the Occupational Risk Prevention Plan and the preventive measures established in each workplace.
  • Promote ongoing training and information on HSE matters for the entire workforce, including preventive onboarding for new hires.
  • Carry out periodic inspections at the plant to verify working conditions and compliance with safety procedures.
  • Supervise the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Identify risks and propose corrective actions and preventive improvements.
  • Coordinate workers' health surveillance.
  • Investigate workplace accidents and incidents, follow up on them and promote measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Manage and keep all HSE-related documentation up to date, in collaboration with the External Prevention Service.
  • Coordinate audits, hygiene measurements and other preventive actions.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with the Mutual Insurance Company and the External Prevention Service.
  • Ensure adaptation of current legal regulations to the needs and characteristics of the organisation.
