What we're looking for
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a simulation technician in the field of Medicine developed in a university and/or healthcare setting.
- Higher Level Vocational Training degree in the healthcare field.
- B2 level of English.
The role
The Faculty of Medicine needs to hire a Simulation Technician to join the team on a permanent basis.
What you'll do
- Comprehensive management of simulated environments and laboratories.
- Preparation and maintenance of simulators and laboratory equipment before each practical session.
- Provide technical support during practical sessions to resolve any issues that may arise. Assist professors and students in the correct use of simulators and laboratory equipment.
- Supplier management: coordinate with suppliers for the acquisition of new equipment and materials necessary for practical sessions. Supervise the reception and storage of acquired supplies. Maintain effective relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery of products. Inventory control.
- Documentation and reporting: maintain detailed records of the use, maintenance, and repair of equipment and simulators. Prepare periodic reports on the status of the equipment and resource needs. Provide information to management regarding possible improvements in the processes and equipment used.
- Regulatory compliance: ensure that all activities comply with safety standards and relevant regulations. Implement and maintain safety protocols for the use of simulators and laboratory equipment. Support compliance with biosafety standards.
- Treatment and preservation of biological specimens.
