Laboratory Technician

• Education and Experience:
  • Intermediate or Higher Vocational Training in Chemistry, Laboratory Operations, Industrial Processes, or similar degrees.
  • No previous experience is required.
• Skills and Knowledge:
  • Medium-high level of English, with the ability to read and understand technical documentation and communicate functionally in technical environments.
  • Knowledge of standard chemical laboratory techniques, including sample preparation, filtration, drying, and physico-chemical testing.
  • Handling of laboratory instrumentation and pilot plant equipment.
  • Knowledge and application of chemical and industrial safety standards.
• Personal competencies:
  • Rigor, order, and precision in experimental work.
  • Ability to work autonomously under the supervision of the project manager.

Job Offer: Laboratory Technician

At Grupo INVOIN, we are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join an important industrial research and development project. The selected person will integrate into the laboratory team, participating in the execution of chemical tests and the operation of a pilot plant, collaborating directly with the engineering team in experimental campaigns and process validation.

• Execute chemical tests at laboratory scale following established technical procedures.
• Operate the pilot plant and experimental equipment, performing startup, adjustment of conditions, monitoring, and shutdown of the facilities.
• Prepare reagents, solutions, and samples, both solid and liquid, for performing tests.
• Rigorously record experimental data and the results obtained during testing campaigns.
• Provide technical and operational support to the project engineers during the development of experimental activities.
• Interpret technical procedures and specialized documentation in English.
• Communicate incidents, results, and technical observations to the engineering team.
• Strictly comply with safety, quality, and environmental regulations applicable to the laboratory.
