Questions candidates often ask
"Do I need experience in both IFRS 17 and Solvency II?"
Not necessarily. IFRS 17 is currently a strategic priority for the team and experience in this area is highly valued. However, strong Solvency II experience combined with reporting, valuation and analytical expertise can also be a great fit.
"Is this role focused only on reporting?"
No. Beyond reporting, you will contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, model governance, audits, forecasting activities and business decision support.
"Will I have opportunities to influence change?"
Absolutely. We are looking for someone who enjoys challenging the status quo, improving processes and helping the team evolve its reporting capabilities.
What will help you succeed in this role
A degree in Actuarial Science or a related quantitative discipline, providing the technical foundations needed to understand complex actuarial and financial concepts.
At least 4 years of experience in actuarial reporting, valuation, financial reporting or risk reporting within the insurance industry, allowing you to navigate reporting cycles confidently and contribute from day one.
Experience with IFRS 17 reporting, including areas such as BEL, Risk Adjustment, CSM, Analysis of Movements, experience variances and operating result analysis. This will help you quickly add value in one of the team's key strategic priorities.
Knowledge of Solvency II reporting, including Technical Provisions, Own Funds, OCG, SCR or ORSA, which will strengthen your ability to operate across regulatory and financial frameworks.
Experience with R3S, Prophet or similar actuarial modelling platforms, helping you analyze, validate and interpret actuarial outputs effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to investigate movements, identify drivers and communicate conclusions clearly.
