Tax Technician

University Education: Double Degree in Business Administration and Law / Law, Degree in Business Administration, Degree in Law with a Master's in Taxation and/or Tax Advisory. Valuable: Master's in Taxation and/or Tax Advisory.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in positions with functions similar to those described, in consulting or external audit, tax areas, accounting and/or corporate consolidation
• Advanced knowledge of tax regulations: Corporate Tax and VAT, mainly.
• Minimum of 03 years of experience in tax settlement and management with Tax Administrations
• Knowledge of the Spanish General Accounting Plan and/or International Accounting Standards (IFRS)

• Advanced use of Microsoft Office: Excel, mainly
• Knowledge of Data analytics
• Knowledge of S4 HANA
• Basic knowledge of Group consolidation (tax and financial)
• Knowledge of AI

Our Redes de Electricidad España (UFD) business is immersed in an exciting transformation challenge, whose mission is the digitalization and sensorization of our electrical grid to evolve from a merely physical grid to a virtual grid, where data analysis and artificial intelligence allow us to manage and respond to all the needs of the new sustainable ecosystem.

In this context, we are looking for talent to fill the position of Tax Technician in the Planning, Administration, and Operational Monitoring Unit.

• Active participation in tax processes and inspections, as well as in response to requirements from different Administrations
• Management of administrative notifications and handling of tax requirements
• Preparation and management of administrative and contentious-administrative appeals, especially regarding local taxation
• Review of tax regulations and adaptation of all internal procedures to them
• Participation in processes related to the accounting field and in the preparation of annual accounts for the companies within their scope
• Active participation in external and internal financial audit processes
• Support in regulatory processes and inspections
• Prepare tax and economic reports and data analysis oriented towards decision-making
• Execute processes related to short-term and long-term tax planning
• Provide support and advice to the different Directorates and Units of the companies within their scope on matters related to tax and economic processes
• Participate in internal cross-functional projects that require the contribution of functional knowledge from the Tax and Economic area
• Identify opportunities to improve the operational efficiency of their area of responsibility.
