Purchasing Manager — Industrial Environment

Guarantee the supply of materials and services necessary for production, ensuring the best levels of cost, quality, and lead time, contributing to the fulfillment of the company's operational objectives.

• Define and implement the purchasing strategy.

• Manage and negotiate with national and international suppliers.

• Identify, evaluate, and approve new suppliers.

• Analyze costs and optimization opportunities.

• Guarantee the supply of materials for production.

• Coordinate with Production, Technical Office, Planning, and Logistics.

• Manage orders, contracts, and incidents with suppliers.

• Monitor delivery deadlines and service levels.

• Prepare indicators and reports for the purchasing area.

• Participate in continuous improvement and process optimization projects.

This is a strategic position that will work very closely with the Production Director, actively participating in the planning, optimization, and management of the supply chain.

• Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or similar.
• Previous experience in purchasing within industrial environments.
• Experience in negotiation and supplier management.
• Analytical skills and results orientation.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and office tools.
• Organized profile, proactive, and with a great capacity for internal coordination.

Nice to have

• Experience in technical purchasing or industrial components.
• English level for negotiation with suppliers.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement or Lean Manufacturing.
