About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Laboratory Purchasing and Logistics Manager to join our team.

What you'll do

WHAT WILL YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES BE?

The ideal person will be responsible for optimizing the supply chain from acquisition to final delivery, as well as for collecting samples from clients until their delivery to our facilities.

As the manager, you will propose improvements in the organization and appropriate procedures to enable orderly growth of operations.

Purchasing management

  • Ensure compliance with the purchasing policy across all areas of the company, adapting or optimizing it when necessary.
  • Implementation of additional processes to ensure compliance with the purchasing policy, using available tools (BC365…) or proposing new ones.
  • Monitoring and evaluation of suppliers according to ISO standards (9001, 15189, 27000…) in collaboration with the quality department.
  • Maintenance and implementation of the BC365 ERP in new companies (M&A, mergers…).
  • Resolution of incidents, ensuring supply continuity.
  • Consolidation of solutions at group level (indirect purchasing focus).
  • Management / supervision of sourcing processes, RFI, RFQ… in coordination with the group.
  • Participation in international projects related to the area.

Logistics and Warehouse Management

  • Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of logistics and warehouse.
  • Optimize logistics processes and ensure their quality while reducing associated costs.
  • Implement tools to optimize logistics controls and flows.
  • Supervise the different logistics partners and ensure compliance with agreements.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, to align logistics strategies with the organization's overall objectives.
  • Evaluate internalization / outsourcing of logistics services (Make or Buy).
  • Invoicing control.

General

  • Collaboration with all areas of the company to understand and adjust needs, anticipating purchasing and logistics requirements.
  • Manage and control the area's budget.
  • Generation of KPIs for monitoring operations and area performance.

What we're looking for

 WHAT DO YOU NEED TO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION?

  • University degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience in purchasing.
