Project Director for Industry 4.0 Processes

We are looking for the person to lead the planning and management of projects for our clients; someone who has a structured and analytical mind, with communicative maturity and a great capacity for problem-solving.

It is essential that the person has experience in one of the following areas within the industrial process sector (Chemical, Cosmetics, Food, Pharma)

• Interpretation of P&IDs, flow diagrams,
• Definition of process instrumentation and its configuration
• Industrial automation systems in process plants.

Essential Skills:

• Engineering degree.
• Indispensable experience in all/some of the different branches of industrial process engineering that have provided technical-level experience in P&ID design, electrical schematic design, definition of valves, pumps, and instrumentation for industrial processes, and PLC programming.
• Previous experience in industrial project management.
• Experience as a project engineer or manager in the industrial liquid processes sector (cosmetic, chemical, food, pharma) is a great advantage.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken (any other language is an advantage).
• Availability to travel.
• Minimum English level B1-B2.
• Availability to work on-site at the technology park.
• Availability to travel to client sites for commissioning.

Your mission will be the planning and management of projects for our clients.

And what does the project consist of? The day-to-day is very varied, but some of the functions you will participate in are: 

• Identification of equipment, lines, services, and instrumentation.
• Process operation analysis and verification of consistency between PFD and P&ID.
• Review of safety devices, interlocks, and SIS systems.
• Support to other disciplines through technical interpretation of diagrams.
• Selection of instruments for pressure, level, temperature, flow, and analysis.
• Preparation of technical specifications and datasheets according to ISA/IEC standards.
• Definition of control loops and selection of control valves.
• Configuration and parameterization of transmitters (HART, Fieldbus, Profibus).
• Preparation of instrument lists, loop diagrams, and associated documentation.
• Design and configuration of PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems.
• Programming of control logics, operating sequences, and interlocks.
• Development of HMI screens and operation graphics.
• Implementation and support of safety instrumented systems (SIL).
• Integration of subsystems, FAT/SAT testing, and participation in commissioning.
• Optimization of controllers and maintenance support.
