What we're looking for
We are looking for a professional with experience in business development and key account management within the animal nutrition sector. The selected person must combine a strong commercial orientation with the ability to build strategic relationships and coordinate internal teams to generate value for our customers.
You will also need:
- University degree in Veterinary Medicine, Agricultural Engineering, Agronomic Engineering, Animal Science, or similar.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial positions, business development, or Key Account Management within the animal nutrition, animal health, or related industries sector.
- Knowledge of the livestock and/or animal feed sector in one or more species.
- Ability to manage relationships with large accounts and complex sales processes.
- High professional level of Spanish and English.
- Portuguese will be positively valued.

What you'll do
As Key Account Manager Iberia, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and growing Nutreco's strategic accounts in Spain and Portugal (Iberia zone), driving sustainable business growth across all species.
You will act as a strategic partner for our key customers, identifying growth opportunities, building long-term relationships, and coordinating internal resources to offer high-value solutions. You will work closely with the Marketing, Technical Sales, Nutrition, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Production teams to ensure an excellent customer experience and the achievement of commercial objectives.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Manage and develop a portfolio of strategic accounts in Spain and Portugal.
- Design and implement growth plans for key customers, identifying new business opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with the main decision-makers of the assigned accounts.
- Offer value propositions tailored to the needs of each customer.
- Lead commercial negotiations, guaranteeing the profitability and sustainability of agreements.
- Manage the commercial strategy and monitor sales and profitability indicators.
- Supervise compliance with commercial conditions and monitor collections for the assigned accounts.
- Keep customer information, opportunities, and activities up to date in the company's CRM tools.
- Represent Nutreco and promote a strong and consistent brand image in the market.
