Applications Technician

● Technical education, preferably Vocational Training in Machining, Mechanical Manufacturing or similar.

● Hands-on experience in chip-removal machining.

● Knowledge of applications on lathes, milling machines and machining centres.

● Knowledge of cutting and machining tools.

● Ability to interpret technical drawings.

● Ability to define technical solutions applied to manufacturing processes.

● Good interpersonal skills, communication skills and a professional presence with clients.

● Interest in developing a technical-commercial side.

● English is essential.

● Availability for occasional domestic travel.

● Driving licence.

● Previous experience in a technical office.

● Experience providing technical support to sales teams.

● Experience in the design or development of special tools.

● Knowledge of special tool suppliers.

● Experience in sectors such as automotive, aeronautics or advanced industry.

● German is a plus.

● Experience dealing with international suppliers.

From onhunters, we are looking for a Machining Technician - Technical Office and Business Development to join a company in the industrial sector in the Goyerri area. You will join an environment specialised in cutting tools and machining, providing technical support to the sales network and taking part in defining solutions for industrial clients.

● Provide technical support to the sales network on projects requiring greater technical depth.

● Analyse client needs related to chip-removal machining.

● Advise on the selection of cutting and machining tools.

● Interpret part drawings and help define the complete technical solution for their manufacture.

● Define the sequence of operations and the tools required for each application.

● Take part in the design and development of special tools for specific applications.

● Accompany sales staff on visits to strategic clients or complex projects.

● Maintain a technical relationship with clients and suppliers.

● Defend solutions before highly technical audiences.

● Collaborate on projects linked to sectors such as automotive, aeronautics and advanced industry.

● Occasionally take part in trade fairs and technical visits.

● Flexible start time approximately between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m.

● Usual departure time between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m.

● Occasional domestic travel and occasional international travel

● Stable project in a company with very low turnover and high technical specialisation

You will be responsible for providing specialised technical support on projects related to chip-removal machining, cutting tools and special solutions for industrial clients. You will work alongside the sales network to analyse technical needs, interpret drawings, define manufacturing processes and propose solutions tailored to each application.
