The Commercial Planning team at Penguin Random House Grupo Editorial is looking to hire a Business Analyst capable of understanding the needs of Commercial stakeholders and developing and implementing analytical tools.

What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain ad hoc data models in Power BI to respond to specific needs of the Commercial area. To do this, you will integrate and transform information from different sources, mainly SAP and Snowflake, and create new metrics, indicators, and business ratios that facilitate analysis and decision-making.
- Guarantee the quality, consistency, and updating of data, as well as the maintenance and evolution of the developed models and reports, adapting them to the changing needs of the business.
- Provide support to the Commercial Planning and Sales team, resolving any doubts that may arise regarding reports and training them so they can be autonomous in information extraction.
- Manage and coordinate with the IT and Analytical Office teams regarding any incidents that occur. Perform the monitoring and prioritization of open incidents using the JIRA tool. Propose improvements in data sets and coordinate with the rest of the BAs to provide support and resolve incidents.
- Keep user manuals updated in the wiki.
- Carry out sales analysis according to different parameters for the book catalog and present actionable conclusions for our business.
- Develop and maintain sales forecasting reports for the sales team.
