What we're looking for
Experience: at least 3 years in an accounting firm/consultancy/management firm, including having performed annual closings for companies.
Experience: mastery of the full bookkeeping process (no need to be an expert in closing).
Tools: experience using A3 for accounting.
Preferred background: accounting firms (Asesorías / Gestorías).
Fluent English (not perfect, but understandable).
To speak English (level is assessed and valued depending on the department you apply to)
To enjoy working in a constantly changing environment
Make collaboration a priority within your team or with other stakeholders
To have enough perspective to prioritize the actions with the greatest impact on the business within your daily activities
Nice to have
Desirable: a "high-level" understanding of accounting (differences between firms, between tools such as A3 vs Sage, regional particularities).
Experience with modern tools (Holded, Quipu, e-commerce tools, etc.).
A "tech savvy" profile (basic understanding of integrations, automations, and APIs) and use of modern tools (Slack, GSuite, etc.).
Knowledge of the Veri*Factu reform and Spanish tax laws and reforms.
Experience in a startup/digital company or innovation team.

You will be the bridge between accounting expertise and product development, ensuring the technical excellence and regulatory compliance of our accounting production tool.
What you'll do
Advise the product team, answering questions and sharing knowledge to ensure accounting features are built correctly.
Test the product and report issues and feedback to the product team.
Train others on the product, especially in the accounting area (externally: the accounting firms we work with; internally: new hires in product/sales/support), creating the appropriate materials and sessions.
Actively contribute to the product launch, ensuring key accounting features are compliant and efficient.
Document key knowledge about FR ↔ ES accounting and how the ES product works.
Train the first accounting firms in Spain.
Help recruit and train key profiles for the team (Partner Success, Customer Success).
Support product teams in the design and validation of accounting and tax features (workshops, prototype reviews, etc.).
Help translate accounting and tax needs into clear product specifications.
Document product decisions in light of accounting and tax regulations.
Challenge proposed solutions from an accounting and tax perspective, and arbitrate between different user feedback when necessary.
QA
Participate in defining accounting test scenarios.
Validate the compliance of calculations, journal entries, financial statements, and tax returns.
Confirm the expected accounting outcome of a feature.
Create and maintain technical and tax documentation.
Train internal teams on key accounting concepts.
