Role context

You will be the bridge between accounting expertise and product development, ensuring the technical excellence and regulatory compliance of our accounting production tool.

Top 3 responsibilities (high level)

  1. Advise the product team, answering questions and sharing knowledge to ensure accounting features are built correctly.

  2. Test the product and report issues and feedback to the product team.

  3. Train others on the product, especially in the accounting area (externally: the accounting firms we work with; internally: new hires in product/sales/support), creating the appropriate materials and sessions.

  • Support product teams in the design and validation of accounting and tax features (workshops, prototype reviews, etc.).

  • Experience: at least 3 years in an accounting firm/consultancy/management firm, including having performed annual closings for companies.

  • Experience: mastery of the full bookkeeping process (no need to be an expert in closing).

  • Tools: experience using A3 for accounting.

  • Preferred background: accounting firms (Asesorías / Gestorías).

  • Desirable: a "high-level" understanding of accounting (differences between firms, between tools such as A3 vs Sage, regional particularities).
