Maintenance Engineer

Plan, coordinate, and supervise preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities on equipment, machinery, and facilities. Its main objective is to ensure the proper operation and availability of assets and systems, their legal management, optimizing costs, and ensuring compliance with facility, safety, and quality regulations.

• Design and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
• Supervise the condition and performance of facility and infrastructure machinery.
• Process, renew, and legalize business licenses, facility modifications, and ensure mandatory technical inspections (OCA).
• Manage authorizations, licenses, permits, requests, budgets, contracts, etc., for internal corrective actions and with external suppliers.
• Coordinate and manage external suppliers.
• Manage and control documentation for site facilities, plans, reports, licenses, certificates, projects, etc.
• Support the maintenance team.
• Diagnose and resolve technical faults to minimize downtime.
• Manage the resources and materials needed for maintenance activities.
• Optimize operating costs by ensuring efficiency in processes, OPEX, and CAPEX.
• Comply with and enforce safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate technical teams.
• Track work orders.
• Generate reports, analyses, and proposals on the condition of facilities.
• Propose and implement technological improvements to increase operational efficiency.
• Manage energy efficiency, prepare improvement proposals, control, prepare reports, etc.

• Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in industrial or infrastructure maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Proficiency in maintenance management software (BMS, SCADA, CMMS, etc.).
• Leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
• Knowledge of facility regulations: (RITE, REBT, RIPCI, Legionella, APQ, etc.).
• Intermediate-advanced English (B2) for managing global suppliers or reading technical manuals.
