Mission

As a PROPULSION SYSTEMS INTEGRATION TECHNICIAN, FEED SYSTEM & RCS, your main mission will be to define the integration processes associated with the FEED and RCS components of the launch vehicle, as well as to carry out proper monitoring in the workshop to guarantee the correct execution of said processes.

Other important functions for this role are:

Responsibilities

  • Developing, implementing, and optimizing assembly procedures for the launch vehicle's FEED and RCS subsystems: assembly manuals, work orders, post-assembly inspections and reports... Continuous improvement of assembly processes (based on lessons learned) to take products from prototype to series production.
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting during assembly procedures.
  • Monitoring task planning and work orders.
  • Identifying needs for tooling for the correct integration of the FEED and RCS subsystem components.
  • Ensuring quality compliance of all specified procedures and standards.
  • Maintaining an operational, safe, clean, and orderly integration environment.
  • Effectively managing non-conformities and implementing corresponding corrective actions.

Required knowledge

  • High level of English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
  • Degree in aerospace engineering, manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or another relevant field.
  • Demonstrable experience of more than 2 years in the assembly and integration of complex, multidisciplinary systems in the aerospace, aeronautical, automotive, railway sectors or similar industries focused on quality (previous work experience, internships, and personal or team projects are valued).
  • Practical experience in projects and assembly of mechanical systems and/or high-pressure fluid systems.
  • Experience in planning assemblies and defining processes.
  • Experience in creating documentation and reports related to assembly (quality control, monitoring, etc.)
  • Ability to correctly interpret tolerances and geometric dimensions from a plan, manufacturing, assembly ICD or PMI.
  • Good command of MS Office tools.
  • Experience with design programs (preferably NX) for 3D and 2D designs.
  • Previous experience with PLM programs (preferably Teamcenter).
  • Experience with Odoo or another ERP to generate BOMs, labor, and work orders.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
