Autoclave Technician (Aerospace Sector)

Vocational Training in Industrial Processes, Mechanical Engineering, Composite Materials or similar.

Experience in operating autoclaves or industrial thermal processes.

Experience in industrial sectors such as aeronautics, automotive, composite materials manufacturing or industries with high quality standards.

Knowledge of composite material curing processes (prepreg).

Interpretation of curing curves, control of ramps, dwell times and cooling.

Knowledge of vacuum systems, thermal control and instrumentation (thermocouples and sensors).

Experience in traceability and process documentation.

Knowledge of safety regulations for pressure equipment.

The Specialization Course in Composite Materials in the Aerospace Industry is highly valued.

-Preparation of the autoclave load, including placement of parts, installation of thermocouples and connection of vacuum lines.

-Verification of tooling, vacuum bags and process preparation before the start of each cycle.

-Execution and supervision of curing cycles following the established technical specifications.

-Monitoring and control of process parameters (temperature, pressure and vacuum).

-Detection and resolution of incidents during the curing process.

-Unloading of the autoclave and safe handling of parts once the cycle has finished.

-Recording and control of traceability for each manufacturing run.

-Collaboration with Engineering in the validation and improvement of curing processes.

-Performance of basic equipment maintenance (valves, sensors, cleaning and checks).

-Compliance with safety and quality procedures typical of a highly demanding industrial environment.
