At Power Metal Works (Power Electronics Group), we are looking for a Health & Safety Coordinator. You will act as the liaison between the External Prevention Service and the company, working hand in hand with the Management Committee team and the EPS to ensure the effective implementation of our OHS policies.

You will be part of a global team in full growth, made up of 56 Health & Safety professionals committed to excellence and innovation. With a presence in Spain (56 people), the United States (16) and other international offices, we work in a dynamic, collaborative environment with constant communication (daily or weekly) among all team members. Additionally, we have H&S consultants who work closely with our team to guarantee the highest safety standards in all Power Electronics operations.

You will report directly to the Health & Safety Manager.

What you'll do

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and promoting health and safety through the lens of the ISO45001 standard.
  • Reporting monthly health and safety KPIs (Leading Indicators).
  • Leading health and safety improvement working groups involving the company's key departments.
  • Participating in daily plant management meetings, as well as coordinating health and safety meetings with the different departments of the company.
  • Preparing, managing, and collaborating on internal and external audits.
  • Periodically conducting safety inductions. Conducting risk assessments of processes, workplaces, machinery, and equipment.
  • Implementing ergonomic studies/analyses. Verifying correct compliance with PPE and participating in their selection.
  • Leading and participating in incident and accident investigations, reaching the root cause, obtaining preventive measures and opportunities for improvement, and managing them with the appropriate indicators. Verifying compliance with legal requirements and identifying training needs.
