Hospital Quirónsalud Córdoba is looking for a NURSE FOR THE OPERATING ROOM with at least one year of experience in the Operating Room, with the mission of providing comprehensive patient care before, during, and after the surgical procedure, promoting health education, in coordination with the rest of the team members, applying the knowledge specific to their category and following the guidelines set by the center based on the area's care protocols, contributing to offering a service of excellent quality.

Specific responsibilities of the position: 1. Attend to the requirements of the surgeon and anesthesiologist during the surgical procedure. 2. Collaborate with the surgical team in all activities within their competence. 3. Inform the medical staff of any alteration presented by the patient and report all defects or incidents observed to the unit supervisor, completing the appropriate documents when necessary. 4. Collect the narcotics sheet duly completed by the anesthesiologist. 5. Correctly record operating room expenses in the computer system, including material and medication consumption, use of devices, as well as any other use that may generate a cost for the patient. 6. Perform high-level disinfection/sterilization of the laryngoscope blade after intubation and at the end of surgery. 7. Review and control the stock of materials and medication in their unit, taking into account the forecasting needs of the other shifts, together with the assigned staff, and collect unused sterile instruments for reuse. 8. Responsible for anticipating all the needs of the surgery. It is important to verify the availability of specific instruments, as well as prostheses to be implanted if required. 9. Prepare the expired gas filter, connected to the capnograph inside its packaging, the anesthesia suction with tubing and probe, and check its correct operation. 10. Check the correct condition of the defibrillators, if applicable, and in case of failure, notify the supervisor and replace with a ventilator that is not operational during the shift. 11. Prepare the necessary material for each surgical procedure, as well as assist the medical team in interventions according to the protocols established by each medical-surgical specialty. 12. Collect the instruments and material at the end of the intervention. 13. Inform the unit supervisor of any incident during the intervention. 14. Perform the count of any material introduced into the patient. 15. If there is a bone bank or grafts, the need will be verified, and they will be responsible for checking the optimal conditions for its use, as well as its prior treatment for proper handling, custody, and registration of biological samples, reporting the time of extraction and the method of preservation. 16. Perform proper hand hygiene.

Education: Diploma / Degree in Nursing

Additional training: surgical postgraduate degree/master's

Experience: 3 to 6 months in a similar position.

A license and/or Certificate of Registration with the professional association in the province and residence in Córdoba are required.

Knowledge of surgical instrumentation.

Ability to review the necessary material prior to surgeries based on the procedure and surgical specialty, including consumables, disposable drapes, and instruments.

Proper handling of biological samples.

Skill in checking and correctly recording the sterilization process of instruments before the start of the intervention.

Ability to prepare the necessary material for each surgical procedure.

Knowledge of preparing the expired gas filter and anesthesia suction.

Ability to check and verify the correct operation of the ventilator and the operating room suction equipment.

Knowledge of opening and setting up the surgical field.

Ability to clean and disinfect the surgical incision with the recommended antiseptics and correctly place the dressing.

Ability to check the visibility of the optics, if applicable.

Ability to place and replenish the necessary operating room material for anesthesia and disinfect electromedical equipment (pumps, IV warmer, ventilator, ECG, blood pressure cuff...) and laryngoscopes.

Hospital Quirónsalud Córdoba busca ENFERMERO / A PARA BLOQUE QUIRÚRGICO con experiencia de al menos un año en Quirófano, con la misión de proporcionar una atención integral al paciente antes, durante y después del acto quirúrgico, promoviendo la educación para la salud, en coordinación con el resto de los miembros del equipo, aplicando los conocimientos propios de su categoría y siguiendo las directrices marcadas por el centro en base a los protocolos asistenciales del área, contribuyendo a ofrecer un servicio de excelente calidad.

Responsabilidades específicas del puesto:1. Atender a los requerimientos del/de la cirujano/a y anestesista durante la intervención quirúrgica.2. Colaborar con el equipo quirúrgico en todas aquellas actividades de su competencia.3. Informar al personal facultativo de cualquier alteración presentada por el/la paciente y notificar todos los desperfectos o incidencias que observe al/a la responsable de la unidad, cumplimentando los documentos oportunos cuando sea preciso.4. Recoger la hoja de estupefacientes debidamente cumplimentada por el/la anestesista.5. Registrar correctamente en el programa informático los gastos de quirófano, incluyendo los consumos de material y medicación, la utilización de aparatos, así como cualquier otro uso que pueda originar un gasto por parte del/de la paciente.6. Realizar la desinfección de alto grado/esterilización de la pala del laringoscopio tras la intubación y al finalizar la cirugía.7. Reaisar y controlar el stock de materiales y medicación de su unidad, teniendo en cuenta las necesidades de previsión de los demás turnos, junto al personal asignado y recoger para reutilizar el instrumental estéril que no se haya utilizado.8. Responsable de prever todas las necesidades de la cirugía. Importante verificar la disposición de instrumental específico, así como de prótesis a implantar si precisa.9. Preparar el filtro de gases espirados, conectado al capnógrafo dentro de su envase, el aspirador de anestesia con la tubuladura y sonda y comprobar su correcto funcionamiento.10. Comprobar el correcto estado de los desfibriladores, si aplica, y en caso de fallo notificar al mando y cambiar por un respirador que no esté operativo en el turno.11. Preparar el material necesario para cada procedimiento quirúrgico, así como asistir al equipo médico en las intervenciones de acuerdo con los protocolos establecidos por cada especialidad médico-quirúrgica.12. Recoger el instrumental y material al finalizar la intervención.13. Informar al/a la responsable de la unidad sobre cualquier incidencia durante la intervención.14. Realización del recuento de cualquier material que se introduzca en el paciente.15. Si hay banco de hueso o injertos, se verificará la necesidad y se encargará de comprobar las condiciones óptimas del mismo para ser utilizado, así como su tratamiento previo para correcto manejo, custodia y registro de muestras biológicas, informando del momento de extracción, del modo de conservación.16. Realizar una adecuada higiene de manos.

Formación: Diplomatura / Grado de Enfermería

Formación complementaria: postgrado/máster quirúrgico

Experiencia: De 3 a 6 meses en puesto similar.

Se requiere Carnet y/o Certificado de Colegiación en la provincia y residencia en Córdoba.

Conocimiento sobre instrumentación quirúrgica.

Ser capaz de revisar el material necesario previo a las cirugías en función del procedimiento y especialidad quirúrgica, tanto fungible, cobertura desechable, como instrumental.

Manejo adecuado de muestras biológicas.

Habilidad para la comprobación y registro correcto del proceso de esterilización del instrumental antes del inicio de la intervención.

Ser capaz de preparar el material necesario para cada procedimiento quirúrgico.

Conocimiento sobre la preparación de filtro de gases espirados y aspiración de anestesia.

Ser capaz de comprobar y chequear el correcto funcionamiento del respirador y las aspiraciones del quirófano.

Conocimiento sobre la apertura y montaje del campo quirúrgico.

Capacidad de limpieza y desinfección de la incisión quirúrgica con los antisépticos recomendados y colocación del apósito correctamente.

Ser capaz de comprobar la visibilidad de la óptica, si aplica.

Capacidad para la colocación y reposición del material de quirófano necesario para la anestesia y desinfección el material de electromedicina (bombas, calentador IV, respirador, ECG, manguito TA…) y laringoscopios.
