About the role

What you'll do

Act as the company's technical specialist and reference in process technology, leading the conceptual and detailed design of critical systems (CIP/SIP), ensuring internal knowledge transfer, and providing high-level support to both multidisciplinary teams and strategic clients.

  • Engineering design: Responsible for the conceptual, basic, and detailed design of Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Sterilization-in-Place (SIP) systems applied to pharmaceutical and biotech industry machinery.
  • Diagram development (P&IDs): Preparation, review, and approval of detailed Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), ensuring compliance with international regulations (such as ASME BPE, ISPE, GMP).
  • 3D modeling: Supervision and/or execution of the design and layout in 3D environments of process lines, piping, valves, and associated components, optimizing ergonomics, drainability, and space.
  • Component specification: Definition and selection of instrumentation, pumps, valves, and materials suitable for sterile and high-demand environments.
  • Occasionally participate in key technical meetings with potential clients to provide technical expertise, defend the proposed process solution, and build trust.

Requirements

Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering.

Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD (or similar programs).

Availability to work 100% on-site in Granollers.

Previous experience in machinery process design.
