What you'll do

In your day-to-day, reporting to the Maintenance Manager and working autonomously (with no staff in charge), you will be responsible for:

  • Instrumentation and Control: Calibrating, diagnosing, and repairing pressure, flow, level, and temperature transmitters, as well as acting on control valves.
  • Automation: Diagnosing faults in programmable logic controllers (PLC) and adjusting parameters in frequency drives.
  • Safety and Regulations: Guaranteeing compliance with electrical safety regulations, applying lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and respecting the required technical standards.
  • Management and Information: Detailed recording of interventions in the maintenance management software (CMMS) and updating electrical and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID).

Education and Experience:

Qualification: Higher Technician in Electricity, Electronics, or Automation. Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience performing similar functions in industrial environments.

Required Technical Competencies:

Instrumentation: Proficiency in the use of field communicators (HART), process calibrators, and configuration/diagnosis of 4-20 mA current loops.

Electricity: Interpretation of single-line diagrams, handling of multimeters, megohmmeters, and thermographic cameras.

Software / Automation: Basic or intermediate knowledge of ladder logic and SCADA systems.

Other Requirements: Availability to be on call/on duty from home and report to the facilities in case of notice.

We offer you first-class working conditions in the market:

  • Contract: Permanent from the start date.
  • Start date: Immediate.
  • Salary Remuneration: €43,162.67 gross/year (Category: 1st Class Instrument Technician, amount which includes €5,904.59 as a shift allowance).
  • Work shift and rest periods (21-day cycle): Week 1: Monday to Friday from 16:00 to 24:00 h (with on-call duty until 06:00 h) + Saturday and Sunday off. Week 2: 5 days on morning shift (from 06:00 to 14:00 h) + 2 weekend days (Saturday and Sunday) on a 12-hour shift. Week 3: 7 consecutive days off. (The cycle includes the proportional part of holidays).
