Operations Director / Assistant Manager

We are looking to hire an Operations Director and Assistant to Management (COO) for a prominent industrial company that is a leader in its sector.

In a moment of solid growth, professionalization, and investment, this newly created position will report directly to the company's Manager/CEO. The selected person will assume the strategic responsibility of coordinating the Operations/Production, Quality, and Finance/Management Control areas in an integrated manner, guaranteeing maximum operational efficiency, urgent customer service (48h delivery commitment), and the economic-financial solidity of the organization.

Plant Management and Processing/Cutting Processes:

Drive the planning and optimization of cutting/machining processes and warehouse management.

Design and implement operational KPIs (productivity, shrinkage, setup times, inventory turnover).

Deploy continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Manufacturing, 5S) to optimize costs and production capacity.

Supply Chain and Logistics:

Lead the integral logistics strategy to ensure agile deliveries and excellence in service (48h deadlines).

Supervise inventory management (raw material and finished product), guaranteeing the strict traceability required by aeronautical regulations.

Optimize internal distribution and external transport routes.

Quality, Safety, and Environment Management:

Ensure compliance with and integration of ISO 9001, EN 9120 (aerospace sector), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Risk Prevention and occupational health) certifications.

Supervise audits, non-conformity management, and the general risk prevention and sustainability plan.

Financial Management and Management Control:

Lead the prospective financial cycle and executive control: medium-term budget formulation and continuous analysis of deviations and profitability.

Supervise the finance/administrative department by proposing improvements in management processes.

Monitor economic indicators and periodically report results to the CEO.

Leadership, Team, and Strategy:

Direct, coordinate, and motivate the managers and teams of Operations, Quality, and Finance.

Participate alongside the CEO in defining the global business strategy and act as the sole interlocutor for the operational areas before Management.

La persona seleccionada asumirá la responsabilidad estratégica de coordinar de forma integrada las áreas de Operaciones/Producción, Calidad y Finanzas/Control de Gestión, garantizando la máxima eficiencia operativa, el servicio urgente al cliente (compromiso de entrega en 48h) y la solidez económico-financiera de la organización.

Gestión de Planta y Procesos de Procesado/Corte:

Impulsar la planificación y optimización de los procesos de corte/mecanizado y gestión de almacén.

Diseñar e implementar KPIs operativos (productividad, mermas, tiempos de preparación, rotación de inventario).

Desplegar metodologías de mejora continua (Lean Manufacturing, 5S) para optimizar costes y capacidad productiva.

Cadena de Suministro y Logística:

Liderar la estrategia logística integral para asegurar entregas ágiles y excelencia en el servicio (plazos de 48h).

Supervisar la gestión de inventarios (materia prima y producto terminado), garantizando la estricta trazabilidad requerida por la normativa aeronáutica.

Optimizar la distribución interna y las rutas de transporte externo.

Dirección de Calidad, Seguridad y Medio Ambiente:

Velar por el cumplimiento e integración de las certificaciones ISO 9001, EN 9120 (sector aeroespacial) e ISO 45001 (PRL y salud laboral).

Supervisar auditorías, gestión de no conformidades y el plan general de prevención de riesgos y sostenibilidad.

Dirección Financiera y Control de Gestión:

Liderar el ciclo financiero prospectivo y el control ejecutivo: formulación presupuestaria a medio plazo y análisis continuo de desviaciones y rentabilidad.

Supervisar el departamento financiero/administrativo proponiendo mejoras en los procesos de gestión.

Monitorizar indicadores económicos e informar periódicamente de los resultados al CEO.

Liderazgo, Equipo y Estrategia:

Dirigir, coordinar y motivar a los responsables y equipos de Operaciones, Calidad y Finanzas.

Participar junto al CEO en la definición de la estrategia global del negocio y actuar como interlocutor único de las áreas operativas frente a la Gerencia.
