Electrical Technician

Training: Higher Vocational Training Degree in Electrotechnical and Automated Systems, Automation and Industrial Robotics, or a related qualification.

Knowledge: Advanced interpretation of electrical diagrams, parameterization of frequency inverters, PLCs, DCS, continuous process instrumentation, and CMMS platforms.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in exclusively electrical/electronic maintenance positions at an industrial level.

Previous experience: Solid experience operating in highly automated and continuous process environments (paper, chemical, pharmaceutical, or related industries) is essential.

Personal competencies: Great analytical capacity for electrical troubleshooting, technical rigor, ability to work autonomously in their specialty, and the ability to integrate with the mechanical team when a breakdown requires it.

Stable contract and direct incorporation into a historic and benchmark company in its sector.

Salary between €33,000 and €41,000 gross per year, negotiable depending on experience, automation knowledge, and value provided.

Rotating shift system adapted to the needs of the plant, with its corresponding bonuses.

At Randstad, we are looking for an Electrical Technician passionate about excellence to join the maintenance team of one of the most important plants in the area, located in La Riba.

This position includes performing paid on-call shifts. As this is a 100% electrical profile, your responsibilities will include:

Specialized electrical maintenance: Execution of preventive and corrective maintenance exclusively for the electrical part (low and medium voltage), power panels, and control of continuous process machinery.

Management of drives and motors: Installation, parameterization, diagnosis, and repair of frequency inverters and electric motors.

Advanced Control and Automation: Connection, monitoring, and fault diagnosis through distributed control systems (DCS) and programmable logic controllers (PLC). Interpretation of programming logic for the rapid resolution of breakdowns affecting production.

High Instrumentation: Maintenance, calibration, and adjustment of the extensive and complex network of instrumentation and sensors in the plant that regulate the continuous process.

Interpretation of diagrams: Reading, interpretation, and updating of complex electrical diagrams for the precise localization of faults.

Management and Traceability: Exhaustive reporting of all electrical interventions, spare parts management (contactors, relays, wiring, electronic boards), and recording of preventive tasks through the plant's CMMS software.
