We are looking to hire a Dimensional Quality Engineer in automotive (Tier 1) with experience in the definition, design, and validation of control gauges, as well as in the analysis and negotiation of geometric and dimensional tolerances, guaranteeing the final precision and quality of the product.

What you'll do

Define and implement the dimensional control strategy for parts.
Define RPS, control points, support, and geometric criteria.
Design the technical concept of control gauges according to product requirements.
Prepare technical documentation (Specs Book) for quoting and industrialization.
Participate in the design and validation of control gauges with suppliers and the customer.
Technically manage the design and manufacture of gauges.
Monitor manufacturing and identify deviations.
Validate control tools (supplier and Tier 1).
Perform tolerance stack-up analysis.
Study and negotiate tolerances with the customer.
Interpret 2D/3D drawings and GD&T.
Report deviations and propose improvements.
Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and the customer.
