Senior Design Engineer | Catia V5

🎯 What are we looking for?

• Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Aeronautical, or similar.

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with CATIA V5, especially in the following modules:

  • Part Design.

  • Assembly Design.

  • Generative Shape Design.

  • Drafting.

• Demonstrable experience in 3D modeling and generation of 2D detailed drawings.

• Knowledge of dimensional and geometric tolerances, datums, and tolerance chain analysis.

• Experience in detailed product design and technical documentation.

• English level B2-C1.

Experience in wind turbine components, wind blades or composite materials, welded metal structures, cast or machined parts, and tooling design will be especially valued.

Proficiency in PDM tools, especially 3DEXPERIENCE, as well as ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or Odoo, will also be valued.

At RDT Ingenieros, we are looking to hire 2 Senior Design Engineers to participate in stable product design and development projects within an industrial and technological environment.

We are looking for professionals with experience in 3D design, drafting, and technical product definition, capable of providing autonomy and technical judgment throughout the different phases of detailed design.

🛠️ What will your duties be?

• Perform 3D modeling and design of mechanical components and assemblies using CATIA V5.

• Develop 2D product drawings, interfaces, and reference elements (datums), defining dimensional and geometric tolerances.

• Analyze tolerance chains and verify compatibility between components and assemblies.

• Manage technical documentation and design definitions during the detailed engineering phases.

• Participate in the definition and evolution of design solutions, ensuring their technical and functional viability.

• Manage design information using PDM tools and collaborate with industrial management systems.

• Project location: Pamplona (Navarra).
