Requirements
What we're looking for
? This role is for you if you have:
• Mechanical engineering or similar.
• More than 5 years of experience in mechanical design and drafting of photovoltaic inverters or power converters.
• Experience in product design for mass production.
• Experience with Siemens NX
• Proficiency in Catia V5, PLM Windchill, PTC Creo, Teamcenter
• B2 level of English.
• Deep knowledge in:
• Metallic materials and international standards
• Manufacturing and forming technologies, especially cold stamping, sheet metal forming, welding, machining, and CNC
• Fastening elements, surface treatments, coatings, IP protection
• Sheet metal design, fits, tolerances, cost reduction
• Technical drawing and international standards
• Production and manufacturing systems
The role
We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in power electronics product design for renewable energy projects, to join our team in Benissanó, Valencian Community, in an on-site modality.
What you'll do
?? In your day-to-day, you will be responsible for:
• Develop conceptual and detailed mechanical designs according to requirements
• Create and modify technical specifications and bills of materials
• Design and modify 3D parts and assemblies in CAD, including sheet metal
• Generate 2D drawings and convert STEP and CATIA V5 files
• Upload and review technical documentation in PLM
• Participate in technical meetings and provide support to suppliers and factories
• Inspect prototypes and collaborate with internal and external teams
