At RDT, we are looking for a Software Engineer focused on Embedded Systems to join a stable project with a bright future, and a technical team where knowledge is shared and good ideas matter.
You will join a development team focused on software for embedded systems, taking part in the design, development, and maintenance of efficient, robust, and scalable solutions—both at a low level and within embedded Linux environments.
Software development in C++11 and later versions.
Regular use of libraries and frameworks such as STL, Boost, among others.
Writing efficient, maintainable, performance-oriented code.
Low-level development in C, with special attention to:
Memory management.
Resource optimization.
Performance in hardware-constrained systems.
Application development with .NET Core.
Programming in C#, integrating solutions with other systems and product layers.
Software development for microcontrollers and real-time systems.
Knowledge of embedded architectures and how to program them.
Close collaboration with hardware teams and other technical profiles.
Development and debugging in embedded Linux environments.
Creating and customizing distributions using Yocto Project.
System optimization for use in end devices.
Working with network protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, MQTT, CoAP, among others.
Implementing and configuring communications in local and remote networks.
Understanding concepts like DNS, DHCP, NAT, and network security.
Education in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field.
Experience developing software for embedded systems.
A technical, analytical profile with a strong focus on quality.
Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with different profiles.
Proactive attitude and a desire to keep learning (because perfect firmware doesn't exist... yet 😄).
