Requirements

What we're looking for

NDT Certification: Qualification in VT, PT, MT, and UT. We preferably seek Level III profiles, but we open the selection to lower levels (Level II or Level I) provided they bring proven hands-on experience.
Drawing interpretation: Advanced ability to read and interpret metal fabrication drawings and specifications (WPS).
Standards: Knowledge of acceptance/rejection criteria for weld defects in steel and aluminum.
Languages: Minimum English level B1 (technical documentation comprehension).
IT skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Competencies: Proactive, autonomous profile with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

The role

At Marlex, we are collaborating with a leading industrial company and benchmark in the Sakana region (Navarra), focused on manufacturing components for the renewable energy sector internationally, in the search for a Quality Inspector - Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).

You will be responsible for the inspection, control, and quality recording of welded joints and metal structures, ensuring compliance with the demanding standards of the wind energy sector.

What you'll do

Perform inspections using NDT: Visual Testing (VT), Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
Interpret technical drawings for metal fabrication and welding symbols.
Identify and report defects in steel and aluminum welds according to standards.
Record results and write technical reports on the tests performed.
Collaborate with the production team for continuous process improvement.

How you'll work

Schedule: Rotating shifts (6:00 AM to 2:00 PM or 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM)
