What we're looking for

✅ Mechanical engineering or similar.

✅ Advanced knowledge of:

  • Steam turbines

✅ Experience in specification, selection, technical evaluation, and monitoring of rotating equipment.

✅ Knowledge of international regulations and standards:

  • ASME

  • API

  • ISO

✅ English level minimum B2.

The role

🚀 Would you like to participate in large-scale power generation projects, working with some of the most critical rotating equipment in a plant? We are looking for a Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer with solid technical experience and a global engineering vision to lead and support all project phases, from the bid to commissioning.

What you'll do

  • Provide technical support during the bidding and tender phases.

  • Review technical documentation for tenders and supplier proposals.

  • Prepare technical documentation for equipment inquiries and purchases.

  • Technically analyze and evaluate offers from manufacturers and suppliers.

  • Participate in the definition of costs and technical evaluation criteria.

  • Coordinate engineering requirements and interfaces with other disciplines.

  • Prepare technical specifications, data sheets, and procurement documentation.

  • Participate in technical negotiations with suppliers.

  • Supervise engineering documentation issued by suppliers.

  • Perform technical comparisons and award recommendations.

  • Provide technical monitoring of awarded equipment during project execution.

  • Review drawings, manufacturer documentation, and final certified documentation.

  • Participate in multidisciplinary engineering reviews.

  • Collaborate with disciplines such as process, electrical, piping, layout, and 3D modeling.

  • Provide support in inspection, testing, and commissioning activities.

  • Collaborate with the Procurement and Construction teams.

  • Define inspection plans and support construction activities related to equipment weights, dimensions, and logistics.

  • Contribute to the development and improvement of the area's technological knowledge.

What will you find?

You will be part of complex industrial projects related to power generation plants, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and international suppliers. You will play a key role in the selection, specification, evaluation, and monitoring of strategic rotating equipment, ensuring the required technical, quality, and safety standards.

Your mission

You will be the reference person for rotating equipment within the projects, providing specialized technical knowledge and ensuring the correct development of the associated engineering.
