About the role

We are looking for a System Engineer to join an international team that develops cutting-edge technological solutions for the transport sector: intelligent systems, embedded hardware, advanced software, IP networks, mobile CCTV, passenger counting, and passenger information.

You will act as the technical link between clients and internal teams, taking part in the entire system life cycle:

  • Analyzing requirements and proposing solutions (CCTV, PIS/PA, APC, IP networks).

  • Attending technical meetings, workshops, and planning sessions with clients and internal teams.

  • Coordinating the integration of electronic systems, software, and networks.

  • Creating technical documentation (diagrams, installation guides, test protocols, manuals...).

  • Configuring, debugging, and validating systems at different project stages (FAT, SAT).

  • Designing and operating test benches to validate functionalities.

  • Providing remote and on-site support.

  • Identifying technical risks and proposing improvements.

  • Delivering technical training to clients.

  • Daily stand-up meetings with the System Engineering team (Agile).

  • Meetings with clients to clarify requirements.

  • Updating wiring diagrams, installation instructions, or test protocols.

  • Configuring and debugging a test bench.

  • Performing tests and validations.

  • Preparing pre-FAT (Factory Acceptance Test).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
    3-5 years of experience (valued, not mandatory).

  • Knowledge of hardware, embedded systems, and IP networks.

  • Experience with audiovisual systems and protocols (VoIP, SIP, RTSP, H.264...).

  • Experience with Linux, HMI, and the railway/transport sector is valued.

  • Fluent English and Spanish; other languages are a plus.

  • Proactive attitude, customer-oriented mindset, and willingness to learn.
