What we're looking for

We are looking for a person with an Engineering background , who is organized and interested in working with large volumes of technical information in complex engineering environments. We would like you to contribute experience or knowledge in:

Technical documentation management and change control.
Railway engineering or signaling environments.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Good command of Microsoft Office.
Interest in engineering data management, automation, and process digitalization.
Professional English, as you will participate in international projects.

Nice to have

It will be an advantage if you also have:

Experience working in BIM environments.
Knowledge of Power BI, Power Automate, or other automation tools.
Experience in configuration management and document control.

The role

Are you interested in working at the intersection of engineering, data, and digital transformation ? At Expleo, we are looking for a System Data Engineer to join international railway projects, where you will play a key role in the management and quality of technical information throughout the entire project lifecycle. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, BIM, and execution teams, helping data, requirements, and documentation evolve coherently and, at the same time, driving new ways to automate and digitalize engineering processes . 📍 Madrid | Hybrid model

What you'll do

You will manage technical requirements and information, ensuring their update and traceability during the project's evolution.
You will coordinate the development and maintenance of track layouts and diagrams.
You will ensure consistency between requirements, design, and implementation, identifying potential deviations.
You will provide support to engineering, BIM, and execution teams, facilitating access to reliable and updated information.
You will monitor documentary quality and project progress.
You will identify tasks and processes susceptible to being automated, contributing to making the teams' work more efficient.
You will actively participate in digitalization and continuous improvement initiatives for engineering processes.
