Production and Field Technician

At RDT Lumiker, we are looking for a Production and Field Technician to manufacture, test, and install fiber optic-based monitoring systems. The position will be based in Bilbao and will combine workshop, laboratory, and on-site client interventions.

Your work will help deliver reliable equipment, reduce assembly failures, and convert our optical sensing solutions into installations that function in industrial environments. We are looking for a vocational training (FP) graduate with a background in electronics or telecommunications, manual dexterity, and a desire to learn.

• Assemble optical and electronic equipment and subassemblies, including fiber winding and splicing following the necessary training.
• Manufacture parts and tooling using filament and resin 3D printing.
• Test PCB boards and finished equipment, record results, and communicate incidents.
• Receive and label goods, organize the warehouse, and prepare packaging and shipments.
• Install equipment and support its configuration, commissioning, and testing at the client's site.
• Document assemblies, tests, and interventions, and propose improvements with Engineering.

• You will work with proprietary optical sensing technology and see the result of your work installed at the client's site.
• You will combine electronics, fiber optics, manufacturing, and field work, in direct contact with Engineering and Product.
• You will be able to expand your autonomy in the assembly, testing, and commissioning of industrial equipment.
