What we're looking for
✔ Vocational Training or Degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
✔ Minimum of 5 years of experience in design projects for power generation plants.
✔ Minimum English level B2.
✔ Proficiency in 3D modeling tools, especially SolidWorks.
✔ Advanced use of AutoCAD.
✔ Ability to interpret international technical regulations and engineering documentation.
✔ Good organizational, written communication, and teamwork skills.
✔ Valid work and residence permit in Spain.

The role
🌟 At RDT, we are looking for a Pressure Part Designer in Madrid to join international projects in the energy sector, participating in the design and development of pressure equipment for power generation plants.
What you'll do
🔹 Develop pressure parts designs for thermal power plant and power generation projects.
🔹 Prepare technical studies, 3D models, and drawings for boilermaking and pressure equipment.
🔹 Perform General Arrangement designs for boilers and associated systems.
🔹 Prepare technical specifications and Material Take-Off lists.
🔹 Review and verify fabrication drawings and technical documentation from suppliers.
🔹 Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure the correct integration of designs.
🔹 Ensure compliance with contractual specifications, applicable regulations, and internal procedures.
🔹 Provide technical support to the Project Engineering Manager during the various phases of the project.
🔹 Identify possible technical deviations, planning risks, or contractual changes and propose corrective actions.
🔹 Review and comment on shop drawings related to pressure equipment and boiler components.
