The role
In the Industry 4.0 team, we are looking to bring on a computer vision specialist with experience developing industrial solutions and the ability to support the client from the identification of an opportunity through to commissioning.
We are looking for someone who enjoys visiting facilities, understanding processes, and proposing solutions, and who possesses the technical proficiency to design, develop, and bring them into production.
What you'll do
Convert client needs into viable computer vision projects, assuming technical responsibility throughout their entire life cycle and collaborating with the sales team in the identification and development of new opportunities.
Visit clients and perform technical prospecting to identify computer vision applications in their processes.
Gather requirements and define objectives, scope, acceptance criteria, and constraints for each solution.
Perform feasibility studies, sample testing, and proofs of concept.
Design the system architecture and select cameras, optics, lighting, and processing equipment.
Prepare technical proposals and estimates of effort, deadlines, and costs, in collaboration with the sales team.
Develop image processing applications and, where appropriate, deep learning models.
Integrate solutions with PLCs, robots, automation systems, and data platforms.
Execute testing, commissioning, and validation at the client's facilities.
Document developments, train users, and support the stabilization of the solution.
Act as the technical interlocutor for the client, communicating progress, resolving incidents, and proposing improvements.
How you'll work
Location: Zamudio Work modality: Hybrid
What do we need?
At least 4 years of professional experience in computer vision projects, with direct involvement in development and implementation in real-world environments.
Experience managing projects from technical definition through to commissioning.
Fluency in client relations: listening, specifying needs, presenting solutions, and explaining technical decisions.
Solid knowledge of image acquisition and processing, industrial cameras, optics, and lighting.
Experience with tools such as HALCON, Cognex VisionPro/In-Sight, Sherlock, OpenCV or equivalents. We seek practical mastery of the technologies used, without the need to know them all.
Programming proficiency in Python, C++ or C#, depending on the development environment.
Experience in integration with industrial equipment and systems.
Professional English, equivalent to B2 or higher, to hold technical meetings, present solutions, and prepare documentation.
Degree in Computer, Industrial, Electronic, Telecommunications, Automation, Robotics Engineering or similar, or equivalent professional experience.

Experience in quality inspection, defect detection, metrology, traceability, or robot guidance.
Knowledge of 3D vision and calibration.
Experience with deep learning: data preparation, training, validation, and model deployment.
Development and optimization of solutions on edge equipment with GPU.
Participation in technical pre-sales, preparation of offers, or development of opportunities.
Experience in innovation projects applied to industrial processes.
