We are looking to bring on board a Processing Technician to join the Processing Department team at Red Eléctrica.

What you'll do

  1. Design the processing strategy for the files, complying with the criteria established by the Department.
  2. Participate in defining project solutions, providing knowledge and feedback from the territory, in accordance with Redeia's Comprehensive Impact Strategy.
  3. Review execution projects to minimize subsequent requests for corrections from the substantive and/or environmental authority.
  4. Lead the processing of files in order to obtain the enabling authorizations in a timely manner, being responsible for the preparation and exchange of documentation with the administrations, based on the inputs provided by the other involved units.
  5. Inform the project team of all conditions and obligations acquired during the public information phase of the projects, and through the resolutions and authorizations obtained.
  6. Ensure compliance with the deadlines of the operational plans and departmental objectives affecting their portfolio.
  7. Coordinate and centralize communications with public administrations for the project portfolios assigned to them.
  8. Properly manage the processing of compulsory expropriation files in order to start works on the established dates.
  9. Obtain the necessary sectoral authorizations for the construction of the facilities on the established dates.
  10. Participate in discussions with the electricity companies developing projects for Red Eléctrica, within the framework of monitoring the processing of the projects.
  11. Monitor the legislation approved in the autonomous communities within their scope and participate in the working groups set up to monitor it and its corresponding adaptation to the regulatory framework.
  12. Proactively gather the necessary technical documentation, validated by the Project Manager and the Technical Management, to request the authorizations in time and form.
  13. Participate in the cross-cutting working groups assigned to them.
  14. Report the status of the processing in the systems and record the necessary documentation in the shared volumes.
  15. Urban planning management, negotiation and obtaining permits by mutual agreement, and management of expropriation files.

Requirements

  • University degree in law or similar.
  • At least 5 years of experience performing tasks related to liaising with the various public administrations, the content of which is related to obtaining environmental, substantive and sectoral administrative authorizations, as well as processing urban planning files before the competent administrations.
  • Provide prior experience in compulsory expropriation files.
  • Knowledge and use of tools related to online submissions will be positively valued.
