What we're looking for

Education:
- Secondary education qualification desirable.
- Valid forklift license: may include counterbalance and reach truck forklift.

Knowledge and experience:
- Knowledge of GDP regulations is valued
- Warehouse operations and handling of machinery and/or specific tools (reach truck, counterbalance, pallet jacks..).
- Minimum desirable experience of 1 year in a similar position, preferably in the logistics sector.
- Minimum training period: 3 months.

The role

What You Can Expect:

At Rhenus, we are looking for a forklift operator to join our Murcia branch.

What you'll do

Your mission is to transport products in and out of the warehouses, following safety regulations and supervisor instructions.

Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading, manually and/or with forklifts, as well as locating material in the warehouse or in trucks.
- Distributing goods in the warehouse correctly and orderly.
- Locating the different stored materials according to criteria to organize the different references.
- Using radio frequency devices for the correct handling and traceability of goods.
- Tasks such as weighing, measuring, and cubing goods may be included.
- Performing continuous inspections of the equipment to ensure the forklift is in good working order.
- Checking the condition of the goods and performing inspections to ensure there is no damage.
- Collaborating with other team members on logistics tasks, ensuring efficient operations.
- Carrying out the controls and procedures assigned in terms of Compliance.
- Collecting evidence of compliance and effectiveness of the controls and procedures assigned in terms of Compliance.
