What You Can Expect:

At Rhenus, we are looking to hire a Supply Chain Operator for our Barcelona branch, who will be responsible for coordinating transport and supply chain operations at a European and international level.

Initially, the position will be focused on the logistics management of industrial spare parts, coordinating flows from international suppliers through to their preparation and subsequent dispatch. Progressively, the scope of the position may expand towards global operations and more complex logistics projects (Project Logistics).

What you'll do

Manage and coordinate assigned logistics operations from start to finish, ensuring correct communication between suppliers, warehouses, service providers, customers, and other stakeholders involved in the supply chain.

Coordinate transport from suppliers located internationally to the packaging provider/warehouse located in Beckum (Germany), when necessary according to the applicable Incoterms.
Coordinate and monitor the packaging service provider until the goods are ready for dispatch.
Organize the subsequent transport of the goods, including deliveries intended for Field Service and shipments to customers in different European countries.
Monitor operations and manage possible incidents during the process.
Plan and coordinate transport from the moment the goods are ready for dispatch.
Prepare and manage the necessary documentation for the different shipments.
Maintain continuous communication with customers during the development of operations.
Coordinate direct shipments from suppliers to customers from start to finish.
Ensure the monitoring of transport and compliance with established deadlines.
