What we're looking for
University degree in Journalism, Communication, or similar.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in corporate communication and/or a communication agency, with a significant emphasis on media relations.
Demonstrable experience in direct and regular contact with journalists, press management, and the generation of editorial opportunities.
Experience in writing press releases, op-eds, interviews, talking points, and other corporate content.
Experience in digital communication and content management for social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok).
We will especially value having worked with corporate brands, B2B companies, or consulting and professional services environments.

Currently, we are looking for a Senior Brand & Communication to join our Brand & Communication team in Barcelona. Reporting to the Brand & Communication Area Manager, your mission will be to contribute to the development and execution of the communication strategy for Roman, La Casa de Carlota, and Villafañe, reinforcing their awareness, positioning, and reputation among their main stakeholders.
The position will have an especially active role in the relationship with media and journalists, as well as in corporate, digital, and internal communication, ensuring coherent and coordinated communication across brands, channels, and audiences.
What you'll do
Proactively manage relationships with journalists and media outlets, identifying visibility and positioning opportunities for Roman, La Casa de Carlota, Villafañe, and their spokespeople.
Prepare and manage press releases, calls, pitches, op-eds, interviews, Q&A, talking points, and other communication materials, as well as follow up with the media.
Maintain and develop an active network of contacts with journalists, especially from economic, business, communication, marketing, and advertising media.
Identify current topics, trends, forums, and editorial opportunities that can become communication and positioning opportunities.
Coordinate interviews, media meetings, press events, and other journalist relationship actions.
Participate in the planning and execution of communication plans for Roman, La Casa de Carlota, and Villafañe, adapting messages and approaches to the identity and positioning of each brand.
Plan, create, and manage content for social media and other digital channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok), adapting formats, tone, and narrative to each platform and brand.
Monitor communication and digital results, preparing reports and conclusions to optimize future content and actions.
Participate in the planning and execution of internal communication aimed at the Roman team: announcements, newsletters, campaigns, People & Culture initiatives, and internal events.
Coordinate transversally with the different divisions, teams, and spokespeople to detect information and knowledge with communication potential.
Provide support in corporate campaigns, events, special projects, and other initiatives within the Brand & Communication area.
