Treasury & Accounting Technician

• University degree in Business Administration and Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting or similar.

• Approximately 2 years of professional experience in an accounting, treasury, or finance department.

• Experience performing or participating in bank reconciliations.

• Experience in the management and/or accounting of collections and payments.

• Knowledge of financial accounting.

• Good command of Microsoft Excel, including common formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and data processing.

• Experience working with a financial ERP. Knowledge of Oracle NetSuite will be particularly valued.

• Interest and ability to participate in the automation and optimization of processes, especially bank reconciliations.

• Knowledge of banking formats and files and experience with electronic banking platforms.

• Native level of Spanish and Catalan.

• A sufficient level of English to work in a professional environment will be valued.

Currently, we are looking for a Treasury and Accounting Technician to join our Finance team in Barcelona. Reporting to the Controlling Manager, your mission will be to support the operational management of the company's treasury, ensuring the correct execution and accounting of collections and payments, the reconciliation of bank accounts, and the reliability of financial information.

Likewise, you will participate actively in the improvement, automation, and digitalization of treasury processes, especially those related to bank reconciliations and financial operations.

• Prepare, review, and execute payments to suppliers and other company payments.

• Manage and follow up on customer collections, ensuring their correct accounting and application.

• Perform periodic bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving possible discrepancies.

• Record and account for bank movements and treasury operations.

• Perform daily monitoring of bank balances and positions.

• Support the preparation and updating of the treasury position and cash flow forecasts.

• Identify and follow up on items pending reconciliation until their resolution.

• Coordinate with the Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable teams to resolve issues related to collections and payments.

• Provide support in monthly and annual accounting closings related to banks and treasury.

• Keep financial information up to date in the ERP.

• Participate actively in projects for the automation of bank reconciliations and other treasury processes, contributing to the reduction of manual tasks and improving the reliability of information.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and standardization.

• Prepare basic treasury reports and the corresponding supporting documentation.

• Maintain the operational relationship with banking entities to resolve day-to-day issues.

• File and keep banking and financial documentation up to date.

• Provide support in other administrative and accounting tasks specific to the Finance area.
