The role

Azul Handling is looking for Ramp Agents for Madrid Airport. In the handling sector, when we talk about "the ramp," we refer to the aircraft parking area. In this area, tasks are carried out involving assistance, management, handling, and the provision of multiple services in ground support for aircraft. As a ramp agent at Azul Handling, you will help and provide support for a variety of tasks on the airport ramp for Ryanair Group aircraft. These tasks include, among others that may be required, the following:

What you'll do

Loading and unloading baggage.
Guiding passengers from the terminal to the aircraft or vice versa.
Transporting passengers and crew.
Transporting outbound baggage from the baggage cart area to the corresponding aircraft or vice versa.
Positioning and removing aircraft equipment.
Pushing and towing aircraft according to established procedures and in coordination with all parties involved.
Inspecting equipment and work areas to ensure they are in proper condition.
Reporting the necessary information to the Team Leader after baggage loading and before aircraft departure.
Rigorous adherence to procedures to ensure the safety of passengers, colleagues and aircraft at all times.

Requirements

Good ability to perform some tasks that require physical effort.
Fluent level of Spanish.
Be responsible and able to follow instructions.
Driving licence.
Live in the province of the vacancy and less than 1 hour from the airport.
Be available to attend an interview in the coming days.
Be available to complete a one-week training course (exact details will be provided during the interview).
Must be available to start work immediately (exact details will be provided during the interview).
