Quality and Environmental Technician - Building

• Civil Engineering Degree, Technical Public Works Engineering, or related education.

• Previous experience of 3-4 years in Building Construction with implementation of Management Systems.

• Basic knowledge of regulations and specifications.

• Basic knowledge of management systems (quality (ISO 9001), environment (ISO 14001), and sustainable certifications (BREEAM, LEED,...).

• Application and monitoring of the quality and environment plan on site.

• Control of documentation and project modifications

• Development of technical specifications for suppliers

• Inspection of executed units and monitoring of compliance with the testing plan

• Control of generated waste

• Responsible for sustainable certification (BREEAM, LEED...) in case the project requires it.

• Monitoring of the quality and environmental management plan on site, integrating legal and contractual requirements, applying current regulations to execution procedures and the testing plan to be carried out, developing the management system and documentation control in accordance with the contract.

• Training of technical site personnel (production managers, foremen, supervisors, quality and environment managers, laboratory managers...)

• Streamlining the handling of non-conforming products.

• Accompanying during the execution of the work throughout the entire process and getting involved in issues and meetings with the client as necessary.

• Detailed study of the contract.

• Detailed study of the materials to be used on site.
