The Position:

As a Technical Project Manager, you will be a key member of ourR&Dteam in Granada, Spain. You will be involved in the development and follow-upof projects for our Optronics team.

What you'll be doing:

  • Defining schedule and planning for our projects.
  • Ensuring adherence to project plan by regular follow-up and meetings.
  • Financialcontrolling:income and expenses for every project (SAP).
  • Identifying risks and/or deviations to baseline, not only in planning and cost, but also in technical activities.
  • Negotiating changes in the scope of projects with relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensuring technical team stick to the development quality standards (Engineering Quality).
  • Preparing Industrialization of the product.
  • Reportingstatus of projects to the Program Manager.

What you Bring to Safran:

  • Degree inElectronic Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
  • Good written and communication skills in English.
  • Knowledge ofone or more of the following fields: Electronics, embedded software, systems engineering.
  • Experience in engineering projects development: methodologies, V&V cycle, metrics, project milestones, certification.
  • Passion, energy and motivation to participate in internationalenvironment.
  • Capacity for teamwork,organization skills and autonomous work.
  • Required experience in:
  • Project Management.
  • Engineering: technical background.
  • Electronics.
  • Teamplayer in an inter-cultural environment
  • Desirable experience in:
  • Aeronautics standards: DO-254, DO-178, AC20-152,ARINC,other EASA / FAA norms.
  • Optro-electronic systems and/or inertial systems.
  • Aerospace industry.
  • Defense market.
