The role

A senior Data Engineer with a strong technical background, specialized in complex data environments (preferably banking or financial services), with the ability to turn data into actionable business insights.

We are looking for a very strong profile in Python, SQL, and ETL processes, with high autonomy and the ability to understand business problems without constant supervision. This is not a Machine Learning role, but rather advanced analytics and decision-oriented data exploitation.

What you'll do

Extraction, transformation, and analysis of data using SQL and Python
Design and maintenance of ETL processes
Exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and business opportunities
Development of dashboards and reporting for business and product areas
Direct communication with stakeholders to translate needs into analytical solutions
Ensuring the quality and consistency of the data used
Participation in analytical initiatives within the department

Requirements

3–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
Strong command of Python (pandas, numpy)
Experience developing with Spark, PySpark
Advanced level of SQL (complex queries and optimization)
Experience building ETLs
Experience in complex data environments (ideally banking/finance sector)
